Andrew Griffith MP, Member of Parliament for Arundel & South Downs, has visited Fishers Farm Park in Wisborough Green to hear about the family-run adventure park’s continued expansion on Friday 17th March 2023.
The MP joined Tom and Katie Rollings, owners of the park, to discuss the expansion of the rural attraction. The family-oriented adventure park, voted Sussex’s Best Family Attraction in 2022, has grown from a ‘Pick-Your-Own’ farm in the 1980s to a popular business employing over nearly 200 local people with over 20 million annual visits.
In its 27th year of entertainment, the park offers attractions which include assault courses, bug safari rides, a range of ride-on mini-tractors, quad bikes and boats, and a host of farm animals. The Park has recently expanded with the opening of its new ‘Let It Glow Barn’ and construction is ongoing for the venue’s Log Flume.
Mr Griffith’s visit also marked the start of English Tourism Week 2023 which is an annual celebration of the contribution made to local economy by the tourism industry.
Commenting on the visit, Andrew Griffith MP said:
“It was fantastic to visit Fishers Farm Park and hear about the work Tom and Katie Rollings are undertaken to grow their flourishing adventure park business which is an asset to our community.
Fishers Farm plays a crucial part in our thriving tourism here in West Sussex, contributing to the £13 billion generated by tourism in the South East, and so I was delighted to join their team to mark the start of English Tourism Week.”
