"2022 was an eventful year which began with celebrating the Queen’s 70th Jubilee and ended with a new King on the throne. My biggest hope for 2023 is that Russia’s war in Ukraine ends. No one is suffering more than the Ukrainian people but with its enormous impact on the cost of energy, everyone has been impacted and I know that many households in West Sussex are hurting. Locally, I’d love 2023 to be a year in which we see real improvements in the number of accidents on our dangerous roads, faster broadband rolled out to reach more homes and the continued steady progress that we need towards cleaner rivers and protecting nature.”
