Andrew Griffith joined a special celebration of long service for some of the carers at Croft Meadow care home in Steyning as it celebrated its 15th anniversary on Thursday afternoon (2nd May).
Andrew joined Russell Brown, CEO Shaw Healthcare, Carmen Flueras, Croft Meadow Service Manager, Emma Williams, Shaw healthcare People Partner, Hayley Dower, Senior Community Developer, Age UK and Councillor David Skipp, Chairman of Horsham District Council.
As part of the purple-themed celebrations with residents, Andrew presented ‘Staff Champion’ certificates on behalf of the care home provider to deserving recipients. These included awards for Medication Champion, Activity Champion and Carer Champion. Residents later enjoyed music entertainment from Russ the Bongo Man.
Shaw Healthcare opened Croft Meadow 15 years ago, replacing the former county council run service. Today the service is run in partnership with West Sussex County Council providing 40 beds for residential, dementia and nursing patients.
